Priv Mudada's strong belief and her mission

I still clearly remember the time I spent in Gainsborough. There was a lovely schoolgirl with whom we were waiting at the bus stop and got on the route number 100 bus, that took me to my home on weekdays ...
Now Priv Mudada is a determined young lady, passionate about getting people to know their identity in Christ. She is also the founder of Identity achievments. She has been living England for nine years.
Priv has been nominated for community champion by two organisations in recognition of the work she does in the community.
1. Zimbabwe International Women's Awards 2016 (ZIWA)
2. Zimbabwe Achievers Awards 2017 (ZAA)
She won Young Achievers Award by Womanhood Global 2016.

You are from Zimbabwe. When did you decide to move from your homeland to live in the faraway England?

Yes, I was born in Zimbabwe and went to school there. I moved to England in  July 2008.

How was your childhood?

I had a great childhood. I have fond memories of growing up playing with my sisters and  cousins at my grandmother’s house. I was brought up in the church so it was Sunday School every Sunday and I loved it. My dad constantly reminds me how I would cry if anyone took first place.

My parents are devout Christians so my upbringing was deeply rooted in biblical ways. I believe that has also nurtured the person I have become today.

I grew up in a home that was full of love and a home where I was allowed to grow and find my place in the world without being judged.

I also had influence from extended family,  who were just like my parents devout Christians and taught me basics about life.

Was it difficult to start a new life in a very different country?

The first couple of months were just different and adjusting to the culture and way of life. I found a lot of things odd. However, the adjustment was doable as my parents were there to guide me and give advice. I couldn’t believe the sun sets at 4pm in winter! One day I came out and thought it was very late at night, I was nearly in tears thinking I was going to get home very late.

In terms of education I found it quite different too, the teaching methods were quite distant from what I had always known. Having said that, I settled in school very well and managed to get really good grades. The only issue was struggling to make friends, so I resolved to having my sisters as friends.

Do you like Great Britain?

I love it here! It’s amazing how with time one can learn a culture and be able to live and succeed. I particularly love how Great Britain is a land of opportunities, if one is focused and determined they can prosper in this land regardless of their background, race or faith.

What does Christian Community mean to you?

It’s a community of people who have a heart for God and God’s people. People that are willing to go out to the unreached people and spread the good news of Jesus, this can even be in their local area or globally.

What is your mission, what is IDENTITY?

The mission is to empower people to know who they are and whose they are. I believe it is important for us to know that especially now that there is a lot of identity crisis going on.

IDENTITY MOVEMENT is a movement that was officially  birthed in 2015. At identity we empower and equip people to understand themselves and their purpose in life, this is done through various ways.

Were you excited about your debut on the stage?

I was excited and nervous at the same time. I had butterflies.

You are an award winner. What did you feel when you won it?

I felt honoured to have been part of the nominees and it was encouraging to even win an award. It just showed that the work I do is not in vain, it was also an inspiration to other young people.

Which cities have staged Identity conferences? What kind of events are they?

Leeds is the only city that has staged the Identity Conferences so far.

They are an all girls one day event where we learn about ourselves, discuss real life issues, we have workshops led by notable women of influence as well. In a nutshell it is one event a girl any age can find something that will help them in their life. We Empower, Equip and Release.

What are your plans for the future?

We will be rolling out identity events to other cities, we are partnering with a few universities this year. So I will be on the road quite a lot.

I have also just released a book titled WHO AM I? A guide to finding your identity I will also be out and about on a book tour for that. Book is available to buy on amazon

We are also currently working on a few programs and master-classes that will be launched hopefully in the new year.

What do you think what is the secret to a balanced life?

Time Management is the secret to a balanced life, if one can manage their time they can balance anything life throws at them. It allows one to have time for work, time for leisure, time with family.

What do you usually do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?

I do love to read, I am slowly building a small library collection. I love my sleep too, so if I am not reading I am sleeping.

How do you image the world in 50 years?

We are so reliant on technology at the moment, 50 years from now I wouldn’t be surprised if most things are done just by a touch of a button. I am not sure how the human race will be coping with that though. However I would love to think that people will be knowing and understanding their purpose.

Do you have plans to visit Hungary?

YES!!!! I am looking forward to visiting Hungary, I love the architecture and beautiful landscape.
